The brand matters less than whether it was fit correctly.
We work with all seven major manufacturers. What separates a good outcome from a drawer full of expensive hearing aids is almost never the device.
We are independent
We are not owned by a manufacturer and we do not have a quota to fill on any one brand. We hold accounts with all seven companies below, which means the choice is genuinely open.
All of them make good hearing aids at this point, and the differences between them matter far less than most people expect. What we select depends on your hearing loss, your ear anatomy, how you spend your time, what you want the device to do, and your budget.
What is included for the life of your hearing aids
When you get hearing aids from us, the follow-up care is included. Not a package you upgrade to, and not a plan that expires after the first year.
- Programming and adjustments, as often as you need them
- Repeat Real Ear Measurement whenever something changes
- Cleanings, dome and wax guard replacement, and troubleshooting
- Pairing and re-pairing to a new phone, television streamer, or accessory
- A deep vacuum cleaning of the microphones and receivers every six months, scheduled automatically
You do not have to call and ask for that six month cleaning. It is already on the calendar. We schedule it whether or not anything seems wrong, because performance drifts quietly. Wax and moisture accumulate, output drops a little at a time, and most people adapt to the decline without noticing until it is significant.
Warranty
The hearing aids we fit carry a three year repair warranty. If something breaks during that window it is repaired at no charge, including when the damage was your fault.
They also carry a three year loss and damage warranty. If a hearing aid is lost, each device can be replaced one time within those three years. A manufacturer deductible applies to a loss and damage replacement, and we will tell you exactly what it is before you commit to anything.
Loaner devices while yours are being repaired
When a hearing aid has to go back to the manufacturer, the turnaround is typically two to three weeks. In almost every case we can fit you with loaner devices so you are not sitting in silence while you wait. People depend on these. Going without for most of a month is not an acceptable answer.
After the warranty period
Hearing aids can still be sent for repair once the three year warranty has ended, and we can still provide loaners while they are gone. There is a repair fee at that point, which varies by manufacturer and by what needs to be done. We will quote it before anything is sent.
California gives you 45 days
Under California law, every hearing aid sold in this state comes with a written warranty that it is fit for your particular needs. If it is not, you may return it within 45 days of the date you received it, and the seller must adjust it, replace it, or refund the total amount you paid.
Not store credit. Not a restocking fee. The full amount.
We are not going to talk you out of it. If they are not working for you and we cannot make them work, bring them back.
We also do not charge sales tax on hearing aids.
The goal is not a sale. It is an outcome that holds up for years.
Much of this industry runs on volume. Advertised deals, short appointment slots, as many patients through the door as possible. When an appointment is built around selling a device rather than fitting it correctly, the fitting is what gets cut.
The patient goes home with something that does not sound right, gets told this is as good as it gets and they will get used to it, and eventually the hearing aids end up in a drawer. That drawer is why people distrust hearing aids. Not the technology. The care around it.
We do not run a chain hearing aid practice and we have no interest in becoming one. We would rather see fewer patients, know them well, and keep them for twenty years.
