Yesenia

Yesenia has been with Desert Hearing Associates since 2023. She is usually the first voice you hear on the phone and the first person you see when you arrive, and she keeps this practice running day to day: scheduling, insurance questions, and everything in between. She earned her medical assistant certificate at Mayfield College in Cathedral City and brings a background in medical billing, insurance credentialing, and bookkeeping.

Her favorite part of the job is hands on. Desert seasons are hard on hearing aids. Dust and moisture work their way into microphones, and devices that sound fine in April can sound muffled by August. Yesenia is our specialist at bringing them back. It is precision work on very small parts, she can diagnose most structural problems herself, and what she loves is the moment after: a patient puts their aids back in and their face shows they just heard everything they had been missing.

She also knows that hearing care can feel confusing or frustrating, especially at first. She will slow down and walk you through it, as many times as it takes.
